This case study was completed as part of Memorisely’s UX 035 course. A cohort-based class that met twice a week over Zoom with designers from around the world. Throughout the course, I collaborated with classmates in real-time, participated in critiques, and iterated on feedback from instructors which lead to a final case study that was reviewed and approved upon completion.

This case study was completed as a self-initiated project, with the goal of gaining real-world UX experience and building a professional-level case study. I used this opportunity to explore user needs through real life interviews, practice human-centered design, and better understand what a professional UX designer experiences.
Project Goal:
Identify common pain points in fitness and nutrition apps. Particularly those rooted in toxic wellness culture and, instead, design a more empowering experience to help users work towards their goals.
My Role:
From initial research through to prototyping, I led the entire process with key insights from professional designers.
I conducted user interviews, synthesized insights, mapped user journeys, prioritized features, designed wireframes, and tested prototypes using real-world tools.
